Brad Goo, Founder

One of the founders of JLVIT is Brad Goo, an experienced Health IT SME and architect with over 30 years of DoD and VA Health IT technical experience. Brad architected and developed the Joint Longitudinal Viewer (JLV), from which the JLVIT name is derived., which has been deployed by both the DoD and VA to satisfy the Congressional interoperability mandate since 2011. HRG Technologies LLC (HRG), an affiliate of JLVIT, and other companies and personnel (developers, engineers, and help desk personnel) affiliated with Brad and JLVIT have developed, enhanced, and sustained JLV since its inception.  JLVIT thus has access to expertise and resources to satisfy any DoD and VA Health IT requirements.

In 2011, VA Secretary Eric Shinseki reviewed the Joint Longitudinal Viewer (JLV) prototype at the Tripler Army Medical Center. Secretary Shinseki hailed JLV as “a critical component of the Integrated Electronic Health Record (DoD and VA) for all system users and health providers to be able to see health records of all types.
